Support manaTec GmbH, a young IT start-up from Dresden. For our team we are looking for a motivated newcomer for the technical support for the duration of 5 - 6 months (shorter internship phases are also possible after individual arrangement). In joint projects you will contribute to the design of open source-based ERP solutions. Task description
- Assistance of the support team in case of malfunctions within the scope of 1st and 2nd level support
- Assistance with on-site user support and remote solutions
- Communication with customers and users on the phone and in on-site support
- Installation of operating system and user software as well as subsequent instruction of the users
- Recording and documentation of monitoring and reporting processes
- Maintenance of data in the ticket system
Requirements
- Enrolled student in the Computer Science course of studies
- Alternatively, a completed vocational training in the IT sector with initial work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 7 client and server 2008/2012 as well as Linux (Ubuntu) server knowledge
- Knowledge of IP telephony
- Professional expertise in dealing with hardware
- Knowledge of the user help desk
